Rio de Janeiro´s places: Serra dos Orgãos National Park

Continuing my list of places to visit, this time was I choose Serra dos Orgãos National Park. We decided to visit the headquarters of Guapimirim. The place is very beautiful, full of wonderful streams and wells for a refreshing bath and cool photos.

Guapimirim's entry is in the 98.5 km of highway BR-116 . The entrance is on the order of Teresópolis' City. It is well signposted.

Arriving there we went straight to the headquarters of visitors, left our car and took the first track
We started the trail of Poço Verde (Green Well), stopping first at Poço da Preguiça (Well of laziness).

We arrived at Poço da Preguiça (Well of laziness) and my daughter wanted to dive, but persuaded to wait a bit until we get to Poço Verde (Green Well). The trail to Poço da Preguiça took about five minutes, and without much difficulty.
Only when we reached the well is that the stones became the track a bit difficult, but nothing absurd.
Path to Poço da Preguiça (Well of laziness).

I took pictures of local vegetation

We continue our path towards Poço Verde (Green Well). This one was a little more difficult with climbs and descents. 10 minutes, was what took to reach at this well.

Arriving there a pleasant surprise: beautiful place! See the photos!

Properly drested after a cold bath (not me, of course? I do not get in this cold water, rssss), we follow our trail back to the Guest House to follow the trail of the mother water (Mâe d'água)

And on the way more photos

Poço da Mâe D'água (Mother of Well Water)

Continuing the trail we reached to Our Lady of Superb's Chapel.

After the Chapel we went to Picnic in the area of Well of Old Bridge and found this really cool waterfall

Now, towards the historic ruins

After we left the ruins we took a small trail that revealed another well very nice, but I did not take pictures of it, had a lot of stones and I was afraid to take down the machine.
Inside the park has no place to eat, so bring snacks and water. I saw two bathrooms, one near the Guest House and another near the ChapelWe paid R$ 11.00 per person to enter the park and R$ 5.00 for the car park. These tickets entitle you to also visit the headquarters of Teresopolis, just 20 minutes ahead of Guapimirim's headquarters. Children does not payIn the Guest House there is a model of the entire Sierra of Organs, a video presentations and a small souvenir shop. There are a Camping and Picnic areas. That's it! I hope the photos make you cheer this wonderful ride. I think I'll go back, but this time at the headquarters of TeresópolisHere is the website of the Parkhttp://www4.icmbio.gov.br/parnaso/
